Pulling Our Way Through:
A 2 day workshop expanding the stories of the Tarot and exploring magic as resistance and connection
We want to acknowledge with much respect that this workshop will be taking place on the ancestral and unceded Coast Salish lands of the Squamish, Sto:lo, Musqueam, and Tsleil Waututh Nations. In these times, we are being called to bring our magic and tools to the table. Visioning forward and finding ways to nurture our connections to one another and our connections to the world around us has never been more vital. We believe that the Tarot can be a creative, magical, and tangible tool/process.
In these times, we are being called to bring our magic and tools to the table. Visioning forward and finding ways to nurture our connections to one another and our connections to the world around us has never been more vital. We believe that the Tarot can be a creative, magical, and tangible tool/process.
We will approach the Tarot as being mentors, elders, and close relations. Their languages of images and symbols have ways of communicating that move beyond the “meaning” of the cards. We will tap into our intuitive relationship to the cards, seeking to invoke the magic that lives inside each of us. We are already experts. We already know how to relate to the cards. We can move through feeling. Through inspiration. Through free-association. We want to tap into the parts of ourselves that already know.
As part of the workshop, we will provide participants with some of the information that comes with the cards (resources that share the stories that have shaped the cards, the numbers on them, the Major and Minor Arcana); but for our two days, we will begin from our intuitive wisdom.
Who Is This For:
This workshop is for those who wish to learn collectively in a political and magical space. We anticipate and hope for a range of connections to the Tarot, and please know that you are welcome whether Tarot is new to you, or you have a connection already. You and your desire to be part of this workshop are the magic needed.

▪️Creative Spreads and Readings
▪️What are the stories that the cards come with?
